It will not be deleted automatically if your DVR fills up and wont be deleted until you do it manually. What is the red dot with the line through it mean on some of my recorded shows on the DVR. I really don t want to call Direct and be on the phone for an hour I don t have time. Ok so hit the list button and highlight the recording you wish to delete then push the red button just below the down arrow key then it will ask if you want to delete select yes and then to cancel the series recordings go to menu then select recordings and manage recordings then go to to do list you'll see the names of shows ready to be recorded some will have a single recording logo on them that means they are single episodes set to record highlight them and press the record button twice that blhe the recording now a lot of dlrectv will have a doubled recording symbol on theme these are series how to make liquor at home fast to record pres the record button once to cancell these.
